Biograd na Moru

Biograd na Moru is a seaport city located in northern Dalmatia. It is situated about 28 km south from Zadar, which is the main area or city of the region.

The city is significant to the history of Croatia because it was a former capital of medieval Kingdom of Croatia. It is spread on peninsula surrounded by two bays Soline on the south, Bošana on the north and overlooking island of Pašman.

Its name literally means “the white town on the sea” and it was first mentioned in the 10th century as a town Croats founded.

Nature gifted Biograd with beautiful beaches and nature. You can find pebbly and sand beaches with dense pine forest that can give you need shade during hot summer days.
