How to arrive at Vodice?
You can get a lot of options while traveling to Vodice because it is very well connected through all means of transportation. You can either use a plane, bus, train, boat, or ship, or car.
Traveling by plane
The easiest and nearest airport is present Resnik, which is located 60 km from Vodice, can be your best option. The airport is called Zadar, and most travelers choose to travel through it because of the easiest and convenient route. You can also choose to arrive throug Split International Airport, which is about 80 km away from Vodice.
Traveling with bus and/or car
There are various bus stations in Croatia. There is a bus station present in the heart of the Vodice. You will also find a lot of residential opportunities just near the bus station. You can get more information about buses from the local helplines.
For cars, the recommended Highway is A1 Zagreb - Split. You should be careful about the direction you are choosing to enter Vodice. If you are coming from the North, it is best to choose the A1 exit Pirovac. but if you are coming from the Southside, it is best to choose the A1 exit Šibenik.
You should also be careful about traffic rules. It is recommended to drive on the right side, and the speed limit should be 130 km per hour, especially on the highways and the motorways.
If you are traveling among the residential area, the speed limit should be 50 kilometers per hour, and 80 kilometers per hour is recommended for the less populated areas.
Traveling by train
Vodice is well connected by railway with all major cities in Europe via Šibenik.
Saturday from 17:00 till Sunday 11:00.
Friday from 15:00 till Saturday 8:30 with obligatory return on Friday till 18:00.

St. Cross church
This gothic church was built in the year 1402, which makes it a monument and a source of interest for those who are fond of exploring history. Parish church
It was built in 1746, which is also a great source of history and architecture. This church was a work of baroque builder Ivan Skoko from Šibenik and it was build on the foundation of an old chapel.

Vodice is a perfect because of kilometers of beaches that vary from rocky to pebbly or even cemented terraces. All of them have in their background pine trees which proved shelter from sun and heat during summer.
Prvić Island
This is a beautiful and small island situated at a short distance from Vodice. The island is constituted of two villages, Šepurine and Prvić Port which are mentioned in 11th century. The whole island is under protection of Croatian Ministry of Culture because of its cultural heritage. The local residents are mainly engaged in the cultivation of olives, vines, fishing and mostly tourism. One of the historical known resident was Faust Vrančić, Croatian polyhistor, inventor and diplomat.
Island Zlarin
Zlarin is a small island on the Dalmatian coast situated close to Šibenik town. This island can find its origins in the stone age when its inhabitants worked the land and domesticated animals. Now, it is well known for its red corals. Even to this day, as a part of touristic attraction, the island organizes a ceremony for sailors who are going to the sea to find them. This ceremony has its roots in the superstitial belief that it will bring luck to those going out in the sea in search for this precious corals.
Because of the untouched nature, rich cultural tradition, hospitable residents, this small island has become a famous tourist destination.
