The Angelina Yacht Charter fleet will be expanding in the coming year to include 20 brand-new state-of-the-art charter yachts. Included in our new fleet will be the luxury Catana catamarans, a motor yacht, and the prestigious Dufour sailing yachts. Some of them we have never had in our fleet before so this will be a total novelty for our clients. In this post, we won’t announce all the new additions, as we will share this with you in the next few posts and reviews, so you can choose which sailing yacht will be the best choice for you, your family, or your crew.

So, let us start with the brand new sailing yacht Dufour 530 to be available for booking this year 2022.

This is one of two of our brand-new yachts; they will be ready for charter in 2022 with five and six cabin layouts, respectively, and are coming from ONE OF THE WORLD'S MAJOR SAILBOAT MANUFACTURERS: The Dufour Shipyard in France. Previously, the French manufacturer maintained two lines: Performance and Grand Large, the latter of which was geared at cruisers. However, with the Dufour 530, Dufour chose to integrate the two ideas in a brand-new hull designed to appeal to both markets. The outcome was not only a beautiful yacht but also the winner of SAIL magazine's "Best Boats" contest in the "monohull flagship" category.

The DUFOUR 530 was nominated three times by the prestigious American magazines Cruising World and SAIL for "Boat of the Year" and "Best Boat" awards, respectively, as well as by the British magazine Sailing Today for the British Yachting Award 2020, and eventually won the BEST BOAT AWARD 2021 WINNER Confirmed by SAIL Magazine in 2021. The winner of SAIL's Best Boat Award for the Best Large Monohull 50ft or greater in 2021!

When the illustrious Dufour Performance and Grand Large ranges are combined, the ultimate combination of two worlds has resulted in an unmatched sailboat. Because comfort is paramount on a cruise, they've blended the primary Grand Large characteristics with an open, safe, and fully furnished deck. It's a big, stylish sailing yacht that has been meticulously polished. The Dufour 530's cutting-edge design maximizes space above and below decks, ensuring easy sailing, and maintaining extremely pleasant living quarters. With an overall length of 16.35m and a waterline length of little under 15m, she maximizes speed through the water. With a maximum beam of just under 5m, the Dufour 530 provides enough living and sleeping space.

Angelina Yachtcharter provides the EASY VERSION, one of three versions created to meet the needs of owners and charterers seeking simplicity. She has an obstruction-free roof thanks to procedures installed on the coamings. The Easy deck, as the name implies, is the simplest variant, appropriately configured for owners seeking easy and straightforward sailing.

The capacity is considerable, with a breadth of over 5 meters and headroom that lowers to less than 2 meters in the aft staterooms. The layout is consistent with the successful concepts adopted for the remainder of the range, beginning with a full-width galley located relatively forward, practically beneath the mast. It is a mixture of several characteristics, the capacity to be employed for a variety of purposes and to adapt to a variety of environments. She is as athletic as she is comfy, with more volume than her length.

Add a couple of sun pads forward - a large one beneath the boom and a smaller one just forward of the mast - and the side decks become completely clear. In general, the cockpit is spacious and rather conventional. Additionally, the optional outdoor galley, which has become synonymous with Dufour, is a notable feature. When the swim step is removed, the ensuing "teak beach" provides an excellent location for the chef to stand and cook en Plein air using an Eno plancha grill, sink, and cutting board. There are no longer any heated, greasy smells inside the boat, and the chef stays actively involved in the action.

When sailing conditions are favorable

A wind of 15-20 knots is ideal for this design since it keeps the occupants comfortable throughout, even during strong gusts. This is the type of boat that fosters confidence while also allowing couples to test their limits without ever feeling overwhelmed. Because this is a cruising boat, the emphasis of the design work must be on cramming as much useful capacity into 50 feet as feasible.

Angelina Yacht Charter offers 2 types of layouts, which is one with a 6-cabin layout and the other one is a 5-cabin layout.
The 6-cabin layout sailing yacht Dufour 530 is located in Trogir, Marina Trogir - SCT, Croatia.
It was built in 2022, and provides accommodation for up to 12 people in 6 cabins, with 3 toilets and shower(s), and will be available for charter in Croatia from 30.04.2022

(The period does not include the week beginning 14.05.) an early booking discount for sailboats of 20%, and for all other boats like catamarans, motor catamarans, motor yachts and motorboats an early booking discount of 15%, The early booking discount includes an outboard engine from 2,3 - 5HP free of charge.
